There’s a news if Microsoft successful bring Windows Phone 7 on the market, then the old operating system like Windows Mobile 6.5 will be ignored. However, the news quickly skimmed by Microsoft. Microsoft has confirmed that the company will continue to support the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and including Windows Phone, if later it released.

“It was a difficult decision to move from a platform like Windows Mobile, but once we are willing to make,” said Microsoft Senior Product Manager Michael Chang, on the Computer World and Legal quotes.

“Microsoft hopes to offer a rich multimedia experience on Windows Phone 7 devices, the OS is not going to include Adobe Flash player. We will not support Flash, although we have a very deep relationship with Adobe,” he added.

Chang also explained that Microsoft has no intention of leaving its role as a supplier of software companies, simply because increasing the number of features that “consumer friendly”, such as advanced multimedia support and a rich browsing into the operating system.

“I would not say we are building a device to consumers at the expense of labor productivity. We take it and expand it includes features that focus on entertainment and new experiences,” he added.
