Nokia for the first time released 4G modem (4th generation) using Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology. This modem is expected to deliver faster data transfer than 3G modems currently circulate and only reached the speed of 7.2 Mbps. LTE is a technology based Driven GSM cellular network which contrived to compute WiMAX technology. This technology is believed to flow the data up to 72 megabits per second.

Internet LTE Modem by Nokia is named RD-3. Nokia is one of the consortiums of companies supporting LTE. This modem is believed to be working with a number of devices from various vendors.

LTE modem also supports cooperation with old equipment such as transmitters with GSM/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA. People do not simply a video teleconference only, but also to meetings of goods and swap files and work with one presentation file.

Sometimes there was a little choked when distributing the video. However, according to Nokia Siemens Network official, it was not because of his LTE devices. But it because of mobile phones or video cameras currently on the market does not support the LTE technology. So there is millisecond delay of data transmission.
